I need help with Weight Management
Many factors impact our body composition over and above what we eat – our genetic predispositions, the type of exercise we do (or don’t), stress levels, hormonal influences, our upbringing, environment, our beliefs and emotional burdens from the past.
The initial session involves thorough questioning and inhouse testing including body composition, live blood assessment and urine testing. Often your weight loss journey will begin with a ‘Body Reset’ – reducing potentially inflammatory foods and boosting detoxification pathways including the liver, kidneys and lymphatics, while assessing for food intolerances (while losing weight). We also may request appropriate pathology testing during this time.

Choosing a dietary program that works best for you involves combining experience, your desires, practicalities around your commitments and modern science to devise a strategy that will work best for you. Some clients want to lose weight quickly to keep motivation high, others are more interested in long term change with slow but continual results.
There are two important things to keep in mind when starting up a weight loss program – people who are regularly monitored do better as they are accountable to someone who can give encouragement and appropriate recommendations; and once the weight is off, it is wise to ‘check-in’ every few
months to ensure the positive habits you have learned stay with you and the weight doesn’t go back on again.
